Weekly Highlights | March 8-14
9:57 PMSunday
On Sunday I took the kids to church in the morning and we ran to Target before coming home for the day.
Monday
The boys had swim lessons in the morning. I was so proud of them, they had a substitute swim teacher and did a great job participating. (I was worried because they tend to like their routines and if there is a change with no warning sometimes they don't do too well. But we got to their lesson about 5-10 minutes early and I noticed the substitute teaching the class ahead of theirs and was able to quickly tell them and at first James was hesitant. But he got in the pool and did a great job participating.)
When we came home the kids played outside a bit and Ellie spent a little special time with me trying to trace numbers "just like Will and James!", she was so excited and impressed me with how hard she tried.
Tuesday
I set up the pack n play for Benjamin in our room. He took a nap in it, but I had to put his dock a tot in it at night because there was just too much space for him to sleep comfortably. (He kept flapping his arms around and kicking his legs).
After dinner Benjamin was sitting in his high chair watching Will, James and Ellie playing and was laughing out loud. It was so sweet watching him watch them.
Wednesday
The boys had speech and swimming again in the morning and I'm loving the progress the boys are making with swimming. I feel like they have come so far with their confidence and I'm so proud of them.
In the afternoon we went to the park to run around and burn off steam!
My mom sent this picture of my dad when he was around the boys age. I see a lot of James in this picture.
I took Ellie and Benjamin back to Panera for a little date again while the boys were in school. After school we made a trip to Costco (one of the boys favorite places to go).

Braxton always wants to hold my hand!
Later in the day on Thursday things started happening due to covid-19 and places started closing. The boys school was already closed for two weeks for their scheduled spring break, but the aquarium closed and a few other places.
Friday
Ellie helped me scramble the eggs for breakfast.
I took the kids back to the park just for something to do.
After talking to my friend and Christopher I decided to go back to Costco and grab a few more things just incase we were going to be able to get out of the house easily. So Benjamin and I went out with the mass amounts of people and got a few more groceries.
Saturday
Saturday was the first real day we were supposed to kind of be "social distancing". It ended up being a windy day so we went outside to fly our kite.
I had to laugh at this, moments before I took this picture they were all fully clothed!
