Weekly Highlights | February 23- 29
10:20 PMFebruary has come and gone! How has this happened! Two months of 2020 are already gone.
Sunday
On Sunday The kids and I went to church in the morning and ran an errand to Target afterwards. I was so excited that I found the boys new coats for next year at an amazing bargain! I love to find a good deal!
After dinner we played the game Pie Face. We got this game on Christmas Eve and the boys weren't huge fans of the idea of getting pied in the face, but when we played on Sunday night it was so much fun. The boys loved getting pied in the face and watching each other, plus me getting pied!
Monday
Monday was mostly a typical Monday. Benjamin helped me out with the laundry. And the boys had swim lessons.
Tuesday
The weather on Tuesday was beautiful. So after I picked the boys up from school I decided to take all the kids to the zoo again. It was fun to pick them up and surprise them with a trip. The trip was both fun and not fun at the same time. The boys were a little tired after school and it was a bit warmer at the zoo than it was at home (because the zoo is inland a bit). But we still managed to have fun. Will tried to feed the elephant this time, but when the elephants trunk touched his hand he yelled "ouch" but it didn't hurt him it just startled him that the trunk was wet!
Ellie loved watching the elephants. She kept talking about them, but didn't want to feed them when it was our turn.

Wednesday
Wednesday was a busy day. We started day with speech and swim lessons.
Then I got a text from our friends asking us if we wanted to meet at the aquarium after swim lessons, so thats what we did! We headed to the aquarium for several hours. I had one of the scariest moments when James wondered away from me and I lost him for a few minutes. It was so scary! I wanted to cry when I found him.
These two, I hope they become two peas in a pod. Ellie loves on Benjamin aggressively and Benjamin loves to watch Ellie and laugh at her!
Thursday
The boys had school and Benjamin turned 5 months old! (How did that happen?!?).
Ellie, Benjamin and I ran to Target and while we were there I picked up a kite. When we were back from picking up the boys we went outside to play with the kite. I love doing fun activities with the kids. They did really well taking turns and watching the joy they had running with the kite.
How beautiful is she?! I love her so much!!
Friday
We have a trip coming up this summer and I was thinking about getting an umbrella stroller to use traveling instead of our baby city select. I looked on Facebook market place and found the one I'd been looking at getting, for such a good deal! I love a good deal and was excited to find something that will work for us! I'm thinking of mostly using it for Benjamin and he definitely loves it!
Look at him enjoying his new stroller. It matches his tractor, which happens to be one of his favorite toys right now.

Saturday
Saturday we spent the day at home. My parents left one of their suitcases because one of the wheels was broken and the kids have been playing with it. I love watching them use their imaginations. This suitcase has been a boat, a spaceship, a car, a train and so many other things. (Even Braxton has used it as a bed).
We went to park in the afternoon to burn off steam. It was a beautiful day out and was really nice to get out into the sunshine, run around and play together.
Ellie's personality cracks me up. She is just who she is and I love it!
