Weekly Highlights May3 - May 9
3:20 PM Sunday
I ran to Target in the morning which was nice. I picked up a chair for the patio and a few things for the kids.
Monday
On Monday we had school in the morning and then made animal masks
This is where Benjamin hung out while we did our school time!
William the Cat, James the Duck, and Ellie the dog!
James just hanging out on my shoulders.
The boys were playing together and this is how I found them, giving each other hugs.
The boys decided to camp out on the floor for the night! They have been choosing different spots to sleep lately and its fun!
Tuesday
Our day started off bright and early with all the kids awake before 7:00. Why?!? I don't know I wish they had my love of sleep! We had school time and then the kids made rainbows. Glue sticks and cotton balls makes for a very sticky fluffy situation. The boys kept going "ewww"
We went to pick up Chris' car and the kids were excited to sit in the car again. Climbing in they said "We miss this. We haven't been in the car in a long time".
When we got home we I let the kids play with shaving cream.
(It seems that I forgot to take pictures most of the day. These are the only pictures I have of Tuesday)
Benjamin found a graham cracker on the floor and immediately started trying to eat it. When I took it away from him he started to cry, poor guy!
Wednesday
On Wednesday our day started early. Benjamin decided that 6am was a good wake up time. I decided that we would skip school for the day and instead I packed away clothes the kids had out grown, cleaned up the backyard, and reorganized the bookcase.
I had a headache all day so after Benjamin woke up from his nap I took the kids for a walk/bike ride in hopes that a little fresh air would get rid of the headache. (It didn't work, but the walk was night).
When we got back from the walk we played outside for a little while the weather was so nice.
It was so cute the boys decided to sleep in their closet. This reminds me of something I would do when I was little. There was a time that I filled our bathtub with all my stuffed animals and slept there, since my mom let me sleep in a bathtub I thought I should let the boys enjoy a night in their closet!
Thursday
I have started having the boys empty the dishwasher in the morning and after they completed their task this morning we made apple cinnamon bread (which was delicious but we only got to eat some of it because the dogs ate the rest of it). William, James and Ellie enjoyed pouring mixing and scooping all the ingredients to make the bread.
After school we went out for another walk/bike ride and played outside again.
In the afternoon I got to catch up with one of my friends from Lemoore which was fun.
Friday
On Friday we did school in the morning and after we school the kids decided they wanted to wanted to do another craft. Ellie wanted to make a crab and kept saying "Pinch, Pinch, Snap, Snap". James decided to make a swordfish and William made a treasure chest. (They have been watching the octonuats lately).
After school we went out for a walk/bike ride and then played outside for a while.
All my babies playing together, makes my heart melt when I see them all doing something together.
Saturday
Saturday was a lazy day at home. Will and James played all day together. They've been playing a lot with their paw patrol toys and create elaborate stories while they are playing. Ellie and I worked on cleaning up and reorganizing her room a bit. I washed her bedding and had to take all of the stuffed animals out of her bed and when I was putting them back in I tried to keep a few out, because there are a lot of them, and she would say "Oh no there are more to go in". She loves all of her stuffies.
I also started trying to reorganize the toy closet but that project will be completed another day, hopefully Sunday!!
