Well Benji-Man another month has come and gone and you're now seven months old!  How is it possible.  

Sleep:



Oh sleep what are you?  I miss getting a good nights sleep, but I'm sure someday it'll happen.  This month I've tried a few new things but nothing has really worked.  This month I tried moving Benjamin's bed time a little earlier and I'm not sure it made much of a difference.  Benjamin has been consistently waking up around 10:00pm every night which now seems more just out of habit than for hunger, but I don't know how to fix it.  He was having a few rough nights waking up almost every hour.  He has just gotten into a decent stretch where he is back to sleeping 3 or 4 hour stretches, but he has to next to me.  

Napping has changed a bit this month.  Benjamin had been consistently taking one nap a day around 12:00/1:00 for about an hour and a half.  But just recently he has started taking two naps a day one in the morning around 10:00/11:00 and a second nap between 2:30/3:30.  Both of his naps last about an hour and a half.  




Eat:




This month Benjamin got to try food for the first time and he is really enjoying it!  With all of my babies I have done a version of baby led weaning and it has worked out well for us.  So far the same method of introducing food to Benjamin seems to be working well for him.  I'm impressed with how well in just a few short weeks his is managing biting, chewing and swallowing food.

Play/Development:




I feel like this has been a big month for Benjamin. His mobility has improved so much this month.  The day he turned six months old he slowly started army crawling and now he army crawls all over and has even started to crawl up on his hands and knees.  He also pushed a chair around while on his knees, so funny and so cute!

Benjamin is growing leaps and bounds in his size as well.  He is now wearing 12 month clothes and size 4 diapers.

Benjamin has started giving me "kisses".  He will lean over put his mouth on mine and then lean back and smile at me!

Benjamin found the baby in the dishwasher.

Oh what a joy it is to watch you grow!  I am so glad God decided that I was the one who gets to be your mommy!  You were so determined to get moving this month.  You started off the month barely army crawling and have ended this month army crawling all over the place and even crawling up on your hands and knees a little bit.  This month you started giving me what I would consider "kisses".  You will lean over and put your mouth on mine and then lean back and smile big at me, it's so sweet!  You love your brothers and sister so much and don't want them to leave you behind.  Your personality continues come out and I'm loving getting to know you more and can't wait to see what next month holds for you!
