Happy Friday! Another week is done and its time to get ready for the weekend! We got to kick off the weekend a little early with my husband being home from work for the day after being gone for almost two weeks!! This week has felt both long and short at times, half the week I couldn't remember what day it was. But we had a good week non the less and after looking back her are a few of my favorite moments.

Daddy's Home

After being gone for almost two weeks Chris came home late Wednesday night after all the kids were in bed. I enjoyed getting to have Chris to myself for an evening, catching up and just relaxing together. Then we got to surprise the boys with daddy in the morning. (They didn't know he was coming him. I don't like to tell them when to expect him just incase his travel plans change).

Sleeping Babies

Is there anything better than a sleeping baby? I mean really, when I watch my babies sleep my heart aches I love them so much. After long exhausting days and counting down the hours to bedtime, I could scoop them up and hug and kiss them one more time after watching them sleep!

In the evening after I have been leaving the boys room they have been getting out of bed and turning their bedroom light on before getting back in bed and going to sleep. I'm not sure why they do this; whether they are getting scared of the dark or just enjoy having the light on. They don't protest when I turn the light off initially, so who knows. Anyways since they are turning on their light I have to go in and turn it off meaning I get a glimpse of my sweet sleeping babies, who really aren't babies anymore.

Fun Friday Nights

Tonight we took the boys to the splash fountain and out for dinner. While we were out we ran into a few friends who had the exact same idea turning an already fun evening into an even better one! We spent the evening with the boys splashing and running around and then enjoying yummy food, I didn't have to cook, and good conversation!
