It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

It's December and there are only 12 days left until Christmas!  I love this time of year and we are leading up to my favorite holiday!  

I have been having fun making memories with William, James and Christopher.  I am doing my best to make this December fun and full of festive activities for the boys!  So with that in mind I decide to attempt to do Twelve Days of Christmas for both my sweet little boys and my handsome husband!

Day One | Little Boys Addition: Cookie Decorating (with our play group)

Nothing says Christmas like a little cookie decorating fun!  Today the boys got their first experience with "cookie decorating" (mostly cookie eating for them)  James wasn't to sure about it and even dumped his cookie, frosting side down, into my hair!  Never has my hair smelled so sweet and tasty or been so sticky!!  Will on the other hand was all about the cookies and exploring what they had to offer on the cookie decorating table.  It was a great set up with plates full of sprinkles, m&m's, jelly beans and of course frosting all on child sized tables for easy access for little hands.  Will made several trips back to the table to snag as many cookies as he could while I wasn't looking.  At one point he made his way back to a now empty table (all the other kids were outside playing) and just laughed with joy at all the yummy treats that were left behind for him to enjoy!   We left play group running on a sugar high and ready for a nap!  It is easy to say the boys look forward to the next time they can attempt to decorate, and devour, more cookies!

Day One | For My Hardworking Husband

On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me

One Energy Drink to keep my hard working husband going!

Chris works long hours some days and is hard working to support our family which I appreciate so much!  I know he enjoys his energy drinks every once and awhile so today he gets one from me =)




I'm not sure that Chris' version of the Twelve days of Christmas is as fun as the boys, but hopefully he enjoyed his energy drink as much as the boys enjoyed cookie decorating. And lets hope he got as much of a boost in energy from his drink as Will did from all of the sugar he consumed!
